  2. 02Sary: best for baqalas and restaurants that buy from one wholesale marketplace and pay later
  3. 03Kaso: best for restaurant chains that manage purchasing for several branches

The Saudi market has two kinds of platforms: wholesale marketplaces that sell to restaurants and baqalas, and software that helps suppliers handle their orders. We compared seven platforms by who they serve, how ordering works and their published prices.

This list includes our own product, MADAR. Information comes from the platforms' official websites and app stores as of 26 October 2026. We earn no commission from any platform.

01MADAR

MADAR is a Saudi company from Riyadh that works on the supplier side. A distributor's customers keep ordering the way they always have: a call, a WhatsApp message, a voice note, an email or a photo of a paper order. MADAR reads every order, matches it to the supplier's catalogue and the customer's prices, and puts it into the supplier's ERP.

MADAR is not a marketplace and sells no stock, so it suits a distributor who wants to serve existing customers, not a restaurant looking for a new supplier. Excel and CSV work today; direct links to Odoo, SAP Business One, Zoho, Qoyod and Foodics are planned.

The MADAR WhatsApp inbox with orders from baqalas and restaurants

What makes MADAR stand out

  • Every channel in one inbox: phone calls, voicemail, WhatsApp, SMS, voice notes, email and photos of paper orders
  • No app, no portal, no login for your customers. They order the way they always have
  • Every order is checked before it reaches your ERP: products from your catalogue, prices from the customer's price list, quantities compared with last orders
  • Understands Saudi Arabic, English and “same as Tuesday”, and learns each customer’s words
  • When it isn't sure, it asks the customer or hands the order to your team
  • Data on servers in Saudi Arabia, handled under the PDPL
  • Most teams are live within days

SAR 1 per order you get. No setup fee, no base fee, no minimum, and a month without orders costs nothing.

02Kaso

Kaso is a Dubai platform founded in 2021 that serves both sides: restaurants with their purchasing, and F&B suppliers with taking orders. The company states 2,000+ suppliers and 5,000+ restaurants across MENA.

For suppliers, Kaso offers to capture orders 24/7 from email, WhatsApp, phone and web and sync them to the ERP, which makes it the closest to MADAR on this list. Its website is in English; we found no information on Arabic support.

What makes Kaso stand out

  • Group purchasing for restaurants for better prices, with cashback and discounts
  • All branches and all suppliers in one place
  • Pay later for restaurants, while the supplier is paid upfront
  • Orders from several channels, synced to the ERP
  • Partnership with Foodics since January 2023

How to choose the right supply platform

Who you are
A restaurant or baqala that buys, or a supplier that sells? Marketplaces are for buyers, software like MADAR is for suppliers.
Order channels
If your customers order on WhatsApp and by phone, pick a platform that reads those channels instead of asking them to install a new app.
ERP link
Ask which systems work today and which are only planned.
Coverage
Some platforms serve one city or one season.
Payment
Paying later matters to buyers. For suppliers, what matters is who carries the credit risk.
Language
Arabic and Saudi dialect for your customers and your team.
Data
Where is your data stored, and is it handled under the PDPL?
Pricing
A fixed monthly fee, a fee per order, or a margin on the goods.
