About us

The trust layer food trade has been missing

Madar isn't another online store — it's the layer the deal, the document, and the data move through, across the Gulf food supply chain.

Why Madar

For decades, Saudi Arabia's food wholesale trade has run on personal relationships and phone calls, with no shared record of pricing or terms. Buyers have no reliable way to confirm a supplier's licensing or food-safety record before ordering, and neither side has the order or performance data needed to plan with confidence. Madar was founded in Riyadh to replace these fragmented channels with a single, transparent, and reliable platform.

Mission

To connect verified manufacturers with the Kingdom's leading buyers through a single marketplace that removes uncertainty from wholesale trade — replacing informal deals with verified partners, manual guesswork with real-time data, and scattered relationships with one dependable channel.

Vision

To become the trusted infrastructure that powers every food transaction between manufacturer and buyer across Saudi Arabia and the wider region.

Why now

The Gulf food supply chain is expanding fast, while its trade channels still lack real digitization or a shared trust layer. Madar is building that layer from day one — for verification, not just for growth.

What governs our decisions

A real marketplace, not single-vendor software

The buyer is always free to compare and choose.

The supplier is a sovereign partner, not a data source

We don't take their customer list — we give them tools to bring it themselves.

Trust is the first product

No product is listed before the supplier is verified.

Arabic first

The interface and correspondence are formal Arabic, with professional English.
